Over 25 years, Simply Sofas has been synonymous with a celebrated ensemble starring the world’s best brands. The newest addition to this list of design’s elite hails from Milan, the world’s design capital – a brand known for its commitment to craftsmanship, tradition, and innovation. 


Estro Milano’s story begins in the sun-drenched lands of Puglia, where in 1956, Giuseppe Sardone founded a humble, artisan workshop dedicated to creating elegant upholstered sofas, armchairs, and complements. But its roots stretch even further back, to the 18th century, when the Sardone family’s workshop crafted upholstery for the aristocratic elites of the Murgia region. 


Today, Estro’s headquarters stand in Milan — a deliberate decision that marries its proud Puglian heritage with the refined traditions of Brianza’s woodworking ateliers. This union of south-Italian warmth and northern craftsmanship is what gives Estro Milano its distinctive voice: deeply crafted, thoughtfully designed, and unmistakably Italian.


At the heart of Estro Milano lies a commitment to innovation grounded in tradition. The team believes deeply in research-based design — forging collaborations, pushing boundaries, and creating pieces that feel both rooted and forward-looking.
